Genocide is the intentional killing of a large number of people from a particular national, ethnic, racial or religious group with the aim of completely destroying that nation or group.
An example of this is the Holocaust when Hitler and the Nazis' 'The Final Solution' plan targeted the ethnoreligious nation, the Jews. This was a deliberate plot to annihilate all Jews. Within their mass murder they also targeted black and disabled people.
More recently in today's world, antisemites misuse the word and claim that Jews and Zionists purposefully set out to murder other nations and religious groups - this is factually false.

Zionism is a movement and the belief that Jews have the right to self-determinate in their ancestral land of Israel.
The core of Zionism is that you believe in the existence of Judaism and preserving its heritage which includes the origins of where the Jewish nation is indigenous to. Zionists believe in the right for diaspora Jews to return to their roots of Israel.

diaspora is the dispersion of a group of people from their original homeland.
Diaspora Jews are Jews that migrated and live outside of Israel.
